Rolled the dice and ordered a 7/8 fine thread bolt from McMaster and then drew up and 3d printed a bushing for it. It is perfect and it pivots nice and smooth now!

Found a 7/8-9, definitely not the right one. Looks like a fine thread. Once I get that, it's ready to bolt to my workbench!

Does anyone know if the center bolt is a 7/8-9 thread? My hardware store only goes up to 3/4" bolts and it's bigger than that. They had a 1" weighing down their flyers and that was too big so assuming 7/8"...I have to order one.

Decided to cold blue everything. Soaking in oil overnight after blueing.

Yeah it was smooth when I tore it down. I only expect it to be better now! I did find it's missing the bottom bolt so I will need to find a replacement for it.
