LEGO Technic cars on the wall instead of the shelf — how I mounted my son's collection as garage art

Those are very cool. I need some. Currently have a Ferrari F1 car and a Ford GT and that looks like what I will do in my garage.

    Siga and Rockwool . . . worth the $?

Thanks for this. I am getting to that point where I will need to start checking prices on all of this. Was set on getting rockwool but it was expensive enough without a price increase. Will look into the varismart but don't think I will need a vapor barrier with radiant and mini-splits on the...

    Window suggestions

Maybe one on the East and one on the West side to catch the sun? Depends on how important your wall space is to you.

What to do about crawl space floor

Mine seems to always be about at ground temp with the current setup. I know my neighbor had all of the floor insulation removed but I don't know if they put anything on the walls. It would certainly make sense to do that. OP, I realize the above is OT but maybe it helps you. That said, I am...

What to do about crawl space floor

That's nice. Do you mean wall insulation or floor joist insulation? I have a good dehumidifier that is brand new. I just want that nice white poly under there. Then I have to seal off the air vents from the inside.

What to do about crawl space floor

It would be full encapsulation and plenty of lighting. I could get a beach chair and watch TV in my neighbors crawl but his is a good 3'

What to do about crawl space floor

The reason we don't have basements is because we are on an island. Water table is too high. My problem is that my crawlspace is literally just that. It is about 2.5' deep. Terrible for getting under the house, but I can't imagine what someone would charge to make it deeper. Some people have...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I hate to cut the grass when wet too. When I last cleaned my deck, I sprayed the whole underside with fluid film. Tough to say how long but I bet it improved the cleaning for an entire season. Would recommend to do it each year.

    Under-Deck Drainage Systems - options

Check out this idea. It would be difficult if the deck is finished. I like the corrugated metal idea but rubber membrane like this could be an option.

    Pneumatic Floor Jack Recommendation?

I like it. Never would have thought of that. If I did, my garage could be much bigger and have more toys in it.

Which type of pvc should I use to bury downspouts?

You are correct. I should have at least divided by 2 and it would have been closer. My apologies.

Which type of pvc should I use to bury downspouts?

Just to put it all in one place. The green pipe is significantly thicker than the regular thin wall white PVC and both have belled ends. The white is .59 thickness and $1.80/ft https://www.homedepot.com/p/JM-EAGLE-4-in-x-10-ft-PVC-D2729-Sewer-and-Drain-Pipe-1610/202280933 The green is .127...

Difference between distilled and deionized water for auto use?

You are correct. I didn't search for the thread that this is based off of. You brought up paying for water to mix coolant.

Difference between distilled and deionized water for auto use?

I buy water for my radiator, use it in my batteries and I even buy regular water to drink. Yes, I am on a well but I am not afraid to drink it.

    New Basement Concrete slab questions

Don't know where you are located but that dumpster cost is high. concrete can be recycled, so if there is C&D or rubble landfill nearby, cost should be minimal. Stego 10 mil is $360 for 14' x 105' but then you also need tape. Not sure what the 15mil costs. Guessing that a large part of that...
