Hi everyone, I have a heater on the ceiling of my garage, 5000 watts, it,s perfect for a -30 or -40 winter. The only problem is that the fan is loud, and my bedroom is right above said heater. Any ways to isolate the vibration of this heater?

My new 12x18 garage :) with questions.

Did you check out something like this for the heating? http://www.renodepot.com/en/garage-convection-heater-03915163 looks good, and I find that those kind of heaters work better than the construction heater. I'm not sure but I think I read somewhere that those construction heater (red or...

My new 12x18 garage :) with questions.

    "The Showroom- 30x48 stick build"

For your insulation question. Yes, sprayfoam may be more expensive, but it's worth it. I was reading somewhere, (dont remember where exactly), that 1.5 inch of closed cell sprayfoam has better insulation than a wall cavity filled with fiberglass or other type of insulation, since the foam will...

What to do about steep driveway and extra low sports car?

I would just redo those ramp in pressure treated wood so they can last for a bit until I find the best solution/price, permit required, etc. custom ramp or Repour section + drain or New garage on the side with proper driveway slope. The most expensive, but then you gain a garage spot for the...

    best solution for Mdf dust?

Static will not always occur with PVC pipes. It all depends of your setup. Usually, for smaller home DC system (under 5hp), static rarely occurs, there,s just not enought wood dust/velocity/air going in the tubes. BTW, you would have a better system if you switched to solid 4 inch pipes, but...
