Thanks.... it was an instant lawn. Sod. With 2 black labs my wife had no patience to wait for lawn to grow. The dogs tracked enough dirt in and out of the house while preparing for the shop and lawn
Bad Picture but the late start and winter prevented me from finishing my garage last winter.( figured out how to load pictures again. Doesnt work from my phone) And like i mentioned earlier helping others before myself created delays again...... one day i will quit doing that. I have come along...
Re: My 24x24 Garage
Just scrolled through your thread. I had the same issues with the cement pour. The framing pushed out on the back outside of my pad. About an inch lip. I'm just leaving it. Cant see it unless you go back there. Another similarity.... too much working and not enough...
It's been awhile since I've been here. Trying to see if I remember how to do this. Garage is well on its way. Had a bit of a hiatus last winter because of my the late start. And during this past summer was helping others with there projects. Will load pictures shortly of some more progress.
After getting a bit of time to do some planning I am seriously thinking about putting windows in the vaulted area. Not sure what would look better 2 or 3 windows on each side of center. ( the left side of center has a tree in the background making it look like another window divider)
well after a bit of a hiatus, mostly due to rain on almost every day since we got the trusses up there was finally a window of opportunity to get the sheathing and shingles on. Between trying to work 2 jobs and horrible weather, this was a challenge.
Holy Cow, It took awhile but the trusses finally came in and we took advantage of the nice day yesterday. We have had alot of rain lately so we were lucky they came in on a sunny day. :bounce: We quickly put them up and got the ladders made but the shorter days prevented us from sheathing. I do...
Well the trusses still aren't ready. :headscrat Call back next Monday he says. Hopefully they are ready then, as my next days off are Monday to Thursday. If so, I should have the roof done by the end of the days off :)
