    30' x 45' Wood Shop Build

Yes, side wall is about 12' and the interior peak is about 19' 6". Not sure on the exterior footprint, I'll try to remember to measure it tomorrow. Not sure about the outside peak but it would be about 6" to 7" higher than the interior.

Finally, the current project is a new router table built along the lines of creston Wood plans by Dan Phalen. I used baltic birch plywood for the carcass and red oak for the drawers. Here, the red oak trim is being glued up. The bottom 3 drawers will have metal slides while the upper drawers...

    30' x 45' Wood Shop Build

In between all those drawers I decided I'd had it and absolutely wasn't going to cart around the pancake air compressor around anytime I needed it in another location. So, this was my solution: I started off with a couple of pieces of plywood and cutout the sides. Inserted some wheel bearings...

    30' x 45' Wood Shop Build

Haven't posted in quite a while but, that doesn't mean I haven't been busy making sawdust...and sometimes other stuff. For instance, off and on for the past several months I've been working on a cabinet for my wife. Literally, for about 3 years she's had her craft and sewing stuff piled on one...

    30' x 45' Wood Shop Build

The curio cabinet is FINALLY finished. Definitely the most challenging project I have ever attempted. Wife is so happy with it that she wants another one. (I told her I need a break.)

Finally, finished the bunk bed, drawers and stairs unit which I was building to donate to a charity organization. There's also two large drawers under the bed (which my picture doesn't do a very good job of showing). They roll on casters so they can be stored under the bed. The staircase...

Howdy Gents, thanks for the compliments. Haven't been on in a while because I haven't had much to report. I go to the shop more days than not but, I'm just slower as I get older. LOL At any rate the curio cabinet is almost done but, I'm having problems getting the pics to upload. They're...

Bwprince, Thanks for the input! I've been distracted with a curio cabinet for the wife lately but, once I get it done I will probably try that.

    30' x 45' Wood Shop Build

About 4 years ago I built this bench with the idea of using it for a table saw outfeed table / storage / workbench . In fact, I even bought some 8 quarter maple in order to make an edge grain top. Each of these "logs" were 8 to 10 feet in length and 6 to 8 inches wide and almost 2 and a half...

    30' x 45' Wood Shop Build

Thanks for the compliments guys. Determination and practice make up for an average dose of talent. LOL, yes indeed, a total of 30 slides was a big task. I made it easier by calculating the height needed between each slide and then cut a couple of pieces of scrap to those measurements. I...

Cabinet for Small Parts Storage Cases

What an awesome thread this is. I found it over a year ago and since that time I've been designing, planning and finally building my own contribution to it. So, my project is pretty much complete. (I'm going to add a shop made box on one end to hold a couple of rows of kraft paper so that...
