Compression - Show Off Your Compressor

Mine started as an early 80's Echo single stage w/60 gal tank. I got it from a buddy of mine back in 2003. The orginal motor and compressor went out on me in 2007and I couldn't find parts for the compressor. Replaced the 5 hp motor and got another single stage compressor from Harbor Freight...

    Let's see your Shop Clock

Nothing fancy for mine either. I had to go with a cord one as all the humidity down here kept killing the battery powered ones. It is supposedly one of those that resets itself too. So far it seems to work over the last couple years.

    Harbor Freight Coupon Thread

I have had one for 6 years now. As mentioned they are not as good as some of their other tool chests/boxes. Mine has held up well though and at the time I bought it ($129 I think), I was real short on money and needed space.

Attack of the stump eating acid !

Grinding is quick and easy, but it WILL haunt you after a while. I had a bunch of stumps ground when removing trees at my place and now that the remaining stup and roots have rotted away, I am filling in sink (big ones too) holes. (5-6 years) If you can grind/root and dig and refill the are...

    Shed build

Nice job on your shed. This is what I started my work with (same dimensions as yours too). It was one of the reasons we bought the place, so I could have somewhere to work on things besides the carport hooked to the house. I think yours looks a lot better than mine. It makes a good place to...

    The car dolly thread

I got mine from Harbor freight. They are slightly different from the ones shown. Mine are all cast aluminum. The work OK and I can move my truck around by myself, but it does take some effort. This is my first time ever using something like this. It was great with just the chassis, but...

Post a pic: Most/Least favorite thing

Of course my favorite thing is having my shop after waiting many years. My least favorite is not having enough time to use it like I would like to. Dang Work! It should be outlawed:lol_hitti

anyone ever made a ramp to load your scoot in a pick-up truck?

I use one similar to what MarkM showed. I had to add some heavy mesh over the thing as my Snapper mower wheels would get caught. For my Dodge Ram, they are just shy of 6 feet and it makes a steep ramp and sometimes it's difficult at the edge of the tailgate and ramp. It is really to sharp an...

What are you doing to keep spiders out of your garage?

I have a pest control for the house, and when they come out they also treat around the shop. About 3 times a year I set off some bombs in the shop and it seems to keep things under control. All the remedies I could buy never seemed to help till I asked the pest control folks to include the...

    Making your garage bigger??

Well that makes sense then, codes that allow basically unlimited expansion, but new construction has limits.
