It sounds like a manufacturer spinning a manufacturing flaw / variable into a "feature".

Does Klein also engineer some diagonals so the cutting jaws will skip over each other with an audible snap when you apply pressure, but...

I'm not talking about the gripping area. I know the tips are not supposed to meet. I'm talking about the cutters.
