i want that dark wet concrete look. something i can weld on, spill oil and fuel on and just be able to wipe it up without leaving a stain. floor was just poured today and they power trowed it for hours. it is pretty smooth. any sugestions?

haha, ok. having a place to plug your welder in has nothing to do with portability. sure you can carry it all over town but it wont do you much good if you cant make it work. i agree anyone that is going to do any real work with their welder should get a name brand 220v unit. spend the money...

the diference is having a place to plug it in. how many of your buddies have a 220v plug in their garage? i would say about 10% of mine do.

portability is a pretty big convenience the first time you need to use your welder outside of your own garage.
