Shoddy pole barn build. Start over or live with it?

Personal preference if you can live with it or not. For me I'd want it right and fix it.

Roll-up door: insufficient headroom. Thoughts on cutting down vertical tracks?

These roll up doors will last just as long as the panel style garage doors. I have some mini storage units that are 20 years old and still have the same doors. You may have to replace a spring every 6-10 years or retention the door but people abuse these things and they keep on ticking.

Needs pics of metal tube building lean to at attachment point

Hi all. I have a metal tube building and I am going to do a small lean to off of one gable end, probably 6' wide. I have decided between two options, either the pole barn style lean to truss that you use 2x6 purlins in the pre fab'd channels with 6x6 (or 4x4 posts) - or - the same square...

Does pittsburgh tools have a lifetime warranty?

This is a very old thread I know but in case others end up here I wanted to pose a statement/question. If Pittsburgh, or any brand tool, coat hanger, knife, etc, offers / has a lifetime warranty and a person takes said item in for exchange what difference does it make where or how the person...

Need help wiring 2 separate photocells for a billboard

https://www.ripleylightingcontrols.com/products/photoclock2 That is the exact model. There is a wiring diagram somewhere on the page but I clicked thru a few links and could not locate. The 20 amp breakers are, top to bottom. 1. GPS PC 2. South bound breaker lights (blue-green) 3. North bound...

Need help wiring 2 separate photocells for a billboard

I noticed the same thing with the breakers.haha. I'm not sure why they have different brands. The electrician's wired it when it was built, then went back another time and did something for me (I believe when I switched from a radio frequency photocell to the GPS. The radio PC worked great for...

Need help wiring 2 separate photocells for a billboard

It's a GPS photocell. It tells time via a military satellite and I can program on/off times through my PC then take the photocell out to the billboard and plug her in. https://www.ripleylightingcontrols.com/products/photocontrols/photoclock

Need help wiring 2 separate photocells for a billboard

Thanks for the help. Timers are one option but this GPS photocell has worked great for over 5 years. I should have had the electrical contractor separate the N/S side lights when they wired it initially but it was my first one and I didn't know @ the time that I could not control separate off...

Need help wiring 2 separate photocells for a billboard

Thanks Bill, I just went thru the forums posting a few responses so I think I can post the pic now but if not I'll send them to you. You are correct, if I leave the one photocell hooked up they come on at dusk and would go off at 10pm,but I need the South bound side to go off at 10pm and the...

    Electronic/Digital Torque wrench?

I wanted one for torquing head bolts on a Toyota matrix and it was between the GW and Acdelco. I went with the AC delco due to price, i believe, because most other specs were pretty similar. Accuracy was one of the main things I was looking for. It is easy to use,I leave the batteries out of it...
