    Jack Identification

Howdy, so I bought this jack used about 5 or so years ago and I always thought that it was a WS. I finally have decided to order a rebuild kit, it's leaking and not performing like it used to. After some poking around on the web and reading some of the threads here on the GJ, I think that...

Below 265 SQ/FT One Car Bay Do-it-All Garage & Workshop

Awesome job. I love the attention to detail. The brick paneling and the lights attached to the door tracks are great ideas.

    Above 1200 Sq/FT 1898 Ohio Post and Beam Barn rebuild - 6784

I love the barn, the Jeep, the VW Beetle, VW buggies(Manx-es), the dog and the property. I grew up just outside of Youngstown. The only thing missing from this Taj Mahal is a Mail Pouch sign on the side. Kudos for bringing that old barn back to the living. -Patrick

    Hood River Workshop

Hey Chris, just stumbled upon this revived thread. What's the latest? I am nearby in Portland. I am originally from western Pennsylvania and grew up in NE Ohio. Moved to Seattle after college for a few years before making it to Portland. I've been up and down the east coast. Across the...

    The Bimmer Basement

Poop, Bob you are correct. I was half asleep the other evening when I posted that. This is the foam sprayer I was thinking of and meant to link. https://www.griotsgarage.com/product/air+foamer+sudsing+gun.do?sortby=ourPicks&from=fn

    The Bimmer Basement

Bob, i actually have that foam gun that just attaches to the hose. It doesn't work all that great. I don't own a pressure washer as my F.I.L. worked for Sears for a really long time and said that they repaired or replaced them all of the time, that most pressure washers have very cheap metal...

    The Bimmer Basement

Great thread, love the older BMW's. Your desire to attain perfection when cleaning your cars. I did have a question regarding foam cannons. I see that you use yours with a power washer. Does anyone use an air compressor to power them, I see that they exist. Are there benefits to one over...

    Between 485 & 705 SQ/FT Mid-Century Moto Mecca Makeover

Gregor, long time lurker, first time commenting. I have followed along from the beginning and I am very impressed. I was at the One Moto with my buddy Tim, I think that you know him, he won the green Yamaha 250 a year ago at the Moto Show. Anyway, I have been making the pizza and as I am a...

    WiFi light bulbs

Does anyone use the Philips Hue bulbs in outside receptacles? I have a light on the back of my garage that I want to turn on or off from my phone. I don't want to have to go into the unattached garage to turn on the light at night.

    Joel's Tiny 2 Car Garage

These are the real deal drafting stools. My dad did some drafting back in the late 1960's and he has this exact stool in his woodshop. I grew up sitting on it at his work bench. It's art and quality function at the same time. Great garage you have there. Mine is similar in size at about 17x...

Awesome garage. Have you looked at Cadet heaters? I have two of the 220 volt ones in my garage, bur the 120 should work good as well. https://cadetheat.com/products/wall-heaters/com-pak

    Did you OSB?

Hey Wesst, what did you use for your ceiling? The vaulted section of ceiling. Almost looks like soffit? Great garage by the way. I like it. -Patrick

    Hein Warner Floor Jack

Thanks for the info. It looks pretty straight forward to rebuild. I am sure that I will be back on here referencing this thread and pinging Hiball or one of you guys at some point once I have it mostly disassembled. :dunno: Can anyone ballpark the year that my jack would have been built...

    Hein Warner Floor Jack

Well, unfortunately my "new" jack leaks. Seems to work alright, but it does indeed leak. I guess if the replacement seals are available, I am going to disassemble it, clean it all up and rebuild it. Should be fun.
