    Thanks for response. That makes sense. Determines what load the motor is at when under max load in current setup. Sadly, I don't have such a clamp. I will have to ask around and find someone that has one. Thanks again.

    I recently bought an old Quincy compressor, model 106. Everything works and she has a 14" sheave with an approximately 3.5" motor pulley.     Speakers for garage

    Receiver with amp given to me and a couple of Boston Acoustics bought at thrift store for $6. Sounds great and sounds even better when cost is thought about. So... Plus one on the thrift store advice.
