So, been a minute. Sold my Corrado to another racer to avoid putting a cage in a nice car.
Got this. Should be interesting. Never raced anything that had traction so guess I gotta make some hp with it.
This was a bit wild to see
One of these looks a little different. 11.66 in testing on Sun and prep was so down to the wire on time the tune is just a rough adjustment on the methanol map from the old car. Insane.
80 Rabbit with a 3.6 swap that I did the full wiring harness for moved under its own power today for the first time. Fueltech 550 for the motor and ecu masters pdm for the chassis.
Now that I am comfy, some work getting done. Finishing teardown of my oops. Looks like a center headbolt broke and let water in cyl4 causing it all. 4 bent valves and head may be junk too. Fun
Been a minute. Race car season is in full effect but still not done 😅
Finally had a few favors traded in and got the mini split installed. The boys did an awesome job and left me room for the "future shed" on my gravel pad. Even just the fan on low circulates the air nicely. Can't wait to crank...
Sometimes I remember I have a lift and not just a race car parking pad. Definitely better than the ground.
The four post does really well on suspension work and added bonus of easy diy alignments on it.
Yea bearing shell is welded to the crank. Piston is in pieces. Can't find any of the wrist pin. Still not sure the cause other than high rpm stock engine.
