Yes, the doors are 'barn-style' with side hinges. More traditional, plus I like the clean look with no up-and-over mechanism cluttering the inside. The floor is a stone resin, which runs right through the drive and in to the garage. I'm a designer, so I liked the clean line right the way...

Doors had to be solid, it was part of the planning approval. I didn't want up-and-over style doors as the mechanism inside is quite messy. That only left one option really but I'm very happy.

Was looking for quite some time to find something that worked... And I found them in... John Lewis! Ordered them online. Ended up ordering them for all around the house in the end.

Thanks, I'm very happy with them too. Yes, the 911 isn't house trained. But I've been out scrubbing yesterday with some Jizer and bought a HUGE new galvanised drip tray! Hopefully that'll help!

356 looks beautiful... And a 914 being developed to be a 914-6 will be superb. Good luck with that and the 911 project.

Of course, will keep you updated on Macan. Especially exciting regarding the gearbox too - 7-speed PDK. Will be much more dynamic to drive than my old Cayenne. The 356 and 914 sound cool. Any pics?

It won't be a full build (as far as I know). They do 'performance enhancements', which are fitted at the factory. This usually goes as far as: - turbo kit - ECU upgrade - RUF wheels and tyres (tires) - lightweight exhaust - alcantara RUF steering wheel I'm in talks with them regarding this...
