Caps for bench legs to protect floor

I use something like these on my 4x4 bench legs. I used 4 per leg. They work just fine.

quickrete resurfacer then epoxy w/ Devoe products...possible or not a good idea?

Chrispy, although not the person you were calling, since I had posted earlier in the thread, thought I'd answer. The QUIKRETE Concrete Resurfacer worked great to fix the spalling. Mine looked similar to Jackwag's. I ended up using Sherwin Williams Tile-Clad HS and Rexthane clear. The floor...

    Sommer garage door opener

GTO, Thanks for the reply. My understanding is the Liftmaster 3800 is designed to work with a garage door with torsion springs. Unfortunately, mine has extension springs. But yes, from what I've been able to read, that would be a good option for "quiet".

    Sommer garage door opener

I'm looking to replace an older Craftsman chain-drive garage door opener. I had pretty much convinced myself on getting a Chamberlain or Liftmaster belt-drive unit, as I'm looking for something quieter than I have now. However, in poking around the Web, I came across a brand Sommer which from...

supercoat or epoxy-coat or..... for working hobby garage

regguy1, did you use the clear glaze that was included with the Sam's Club kit? What were your thoughts about it? I'm debating whether or not it's worth the extra money to buy the Industrial Glaze Coat from Supercoat direct and use that instead. It would only be an extra $100 or so for a...

quickrete resurfacer then epoxy w/ Devoe products...possible or not a good idea?

I'm far from an expert on the topic of epoxy floors, but I'm also using the QUIKRETE Concrete Resurfacer to repair some spalling on my garage floor before coating with epoxy. I called Quikrete today trying to find their Multi-purpose Concrete Resurfacer, which has a longer working time...

    Epoxy 1 or 2 coats

********, I too would like to see pictures of your floor, as I'm considering using SUPERCOAT. Do you have a clear coat on your floor? If so, do you have the Residential Glaze Coat or the Industrial Glaze Coat? How many coats? Thanks.

Metal floor drain and muriatic acid

I'm looking to epoxy my garage floor this spring. In the center of my garage is a metal floor drain. The house was built in the '60s. Am I going to have any issues if I use muriatic acid to etch the floor with regards to the drain and/or pipe connected to it? Thanks.

Epoxy vs latex cement patching material

Hi, I'm new here and planning to coat my garage floor later this spring (still a little cold up here in Minnesota). This will be the first time doing such a project, but am somewhat handy in general. I have a 45 year old house. The garage floor is in generally good shape, but some...
