    Finishing off my finished garage.

Thanks. Never say never is my new motto, but I think it’s going to stay utilitarian for quite a while. The floor has drains, but the flat work wasn’t done well. There are areas that may need to be leveled out, maybe even ground down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cleaned up mostly. Didn’t have time to finish the door and window trim. But l was able to finish sanding/planing down the deck boards. Had a productive three days. Now just need to finish cutting up that monster tree. [emoji15] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Finishing off my finished garage.

Finished the door wall yesterday and put up more pine on the half wall. Picked up a 2x12 for a shelf/cap. Made some bracing and put extra boards on top of the closet. More cleaning tomorrow, tossing a lot of scraps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Finishing off my finished garage.

I have most of the wood up. Just waiting for an extra hand to tackle the garage door wall. I’ll need to basically remove the door rails and release the tension on the spring so I can put the pine boards up behind the garage door brackets. I have a plan in my mind. Hoping it all goes as well as...

    Finishing off my finished garage.

I finished the tin installation and got started putting up the wood. Yard work got me sidetracked. So, didn’t get as much done as I hoped. I’m loving the way the weathered knotty pine is turning out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Finishing off my finished garage.

The snow is slowly melting and the t111 dried up nicely. I finished insulation last weekend and started putting up tin. I created walls for a walk in closet. It cleans up the space around the chimney and built in shelves. I made it to be open at the bottom and about a foot from the ceiling...

    Finishing off my finished garage.

Hung some insulation yesterday at the cottage. So much snow against the building that I could see the moisture was wicking through the t-111 siding. Decided to be sure it was dried up before finishing the bottom of each stud bay. Two out of four walls are complete. Also have a pile of pre...

    Finishing off my finished garage.

I have a friend with a fabrication company. Materials were about 400 or so. Had to be two pieces because his metal break wasn’t long enough to bend it in one piece. Sits on partical board. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Finishing off my finished garage.

Lol, thanks. It did get a little out of control. I still work in it though. Those nice finishes are very durable and everything cleans up easily and looks great. Super happy. The cottage garage will be great when done too, just going to leave the floor bare due to the snowmobile carbides...

    Finishing off my finished garage.

I was able to finish the wiring and hang an electric heater in the cottage garage with the help of my electrician. It’s a Dr. Heater 10,000 watt unit. Works great! I could notice a difference after just 10 minutes and in an hour the 25x36 garage was comfortable and the ice on the floor was able...
