I had been trying to find a stool with casters for a long time for my back wall work bench, but nothing new appealed to me. I’ve seen prices very high on old stools but couldn’t ever justify it for the garage. I came across this on a whim and figured I can paint it / restore it a bit. Only label...
Guys, I picked up an old crazy heavy duty metal cabinet on casters at the great price of only $80. It needs a little TLC ( or rather a lot). I plan on painting it to match the blue cabinets everywhere else, but it’s going to become my new miter saw station and saw cabinet. Just looking for...
Thanks!
To be honest when I first did the garage I never knew it would turn into a workshop for my projects. It was during that “ showcase “ time period when I first insulated the walls and wanted the exposed ceiling, so I just sorta never got around to doing in between the ceiling joists. One...
Very sorry for the long delay in posts guys, but I’m back at it!
Lumber prices here are still crazy and I made the decision to not spend the money on finishing the ceiling in tongue & groove pine and instead am in the process of doing this. I framed down the rafter chords and am drywalling in...

I finally got around to making my sign for the accent wood area. Made a multiple stencil with my friend with the vinyl cutter, put it up, painted and then scuffed it up with sand paper to make it look a bit more aged as intended. Simple solution, but very happy with the results:
Thank you for the kind words. I understand completely now when everyone realizes it’s never truly finished and many continue to tweak it as they work more in them. I’ve added a few more changes I’ll be sharing on here soon. I suppose it’s time for me to update the initial photos and add more up...
Awesome! The 992’s are beautiful. I really love the retro cues, especially the interiors. I was looking a couple but I really wanted the last of the full NA cars with 4 seats and a stick, so the 991.1 GTS was the ideal choice for me. They are all great though.
I was tired of my hammers getting full of sawdust despite my best efforts for dust collection. I ended up grabbing a cheap ikea cabinet and trimmed it out with oak. Added some vintage looking hardware and now it looks like an old craftsman cabinet:
