Had the same problem with myQ and Cox gigabit wifi. I had to walk away from the house until I lost connection and then walk back just until it connects. This ensures that you are only receiving the 2.4 band. Had to do the same thing for our new LG washer and dryer.
I bought this air compressor several years ago at Northern Tool and i am more than happy with it:

Put down Racedeck in my 3 car garage when we built our home 14 years ago. I detail part-time out of it and I get tons of compliments and even had a neighbor go with Racedeck after seeing it and walking on it.
I have had the diamond solid Racedeck in my garage for a decade now. I live in Oklahoma so see all kinds of weather. Best decision I made. So easy to mop or squeegee the floor when it gets wet.
Still recovering from a 2nd ankle surgery but got out in the garage and did a little cleaning and set up a Chromecast on the TV.

I recently bought several "flairosol" or 360 spray bottles to use in detailing. Bought mine from Sally's Beauty Supply. I really like them so far. Use them for everything from wheel cleaner to tire dressings, glass cleaners to interior protectant.
Ever looked into rinseless washing? I have been doing that in my home garage for about 12 years now and even do some mobile jobs using Optimum No Rinse washing. 1/2 oz in 1 gallon of water and can wash and detail a sedan in under an hour.
I have that compressor and use it in my home garage. It was an upgrade from a Craftsman oil-less. I really like. My wife and kids have commented how quiet it is. I use an impact, air ratchet, and cut off tool without issue.
Had my RaceDeck in my 3 car garage since 2009. I love it and so does the wife. It is not any more slick than normal flooring when wet. I detail cars part time in the 2 bay and work on my Mustang street/strip car in the 3rd bay. There is some staining here and there from fluid spills and such...
