You'll most likely need to program the shunt to the battery. It will ask what the "full voltage" is and what the "amp hour capacity" is. You should have to pick "tail current" if it's a good shunt. Lithium batteries don't follow Peukert's theory so they have a setting for "discharge Floor"...
If you really want to know the SOC (State Of Charge) you'll want a shunt. There are several out there pretty cheap that have bluetooth monitoring. I like the Victron stuff because I use it at work.
I would spray foam the whole thing. I don't know what costs are today but we spent $4500 to put 1.5" on a 32 x 56 x 16h. We also have a 30 x 40 x 16 with interior steel panels and 6" blown in insulation. The difference is night and day.

Thanks. My wife has asked why I won't hire someone to finish a couple of the projects. If I can get the guys at work to finish the motorhome for a cash price I'll gladly let them finish that work.
All things considered, I'd say I feel pretty good. The CJ has the F-head 134 4cyl. It runs terrible but I have a new distributor/coil pack waiting to go in.
Yes. We actually replaced the floors and all the interior walls on the passenger side. We were supposed to have it finished in March and head to Arizona for a little vacation.
Haven't posted in forever but thought I'd let you know what's going on. Work has obviously been busy and the wife and i have been restoring the motorhome over the winter. I bought a 59 CJ5 and dad picked up a little dodge.
in the midst of all this, i started feeling like **** and ended up...
Supply chain is actually slowing down production now. Several companies are moving to 4 days a week. The vast majority of people who try it like it and as there family grows they need larger rigs. I have an old Diesel Pusher and my wife and I love it. We're currently trying to redo it on...
