    Lubricant for 4 post lift

My Bendpak HD7W did something similar. It studdered going up and down. At firts without a load and then later with or without a load. It turned out that is was suffering from cylinder stick/slip.I bought a Caterpillar Tractor hyd. additive for this condition from a local cat dealer. Problem solved!

    4-Post Lift recommendations

I bought a HD7WBendpak from ASE Deals. It's a great product. I had one pin that wouldn't take grease, so BendPak quickly mailed me a new one. I added Caterpillar hyd. oil additive for cylinder stick/slip and I use the lift weekly with no issues. Best investment I've made for my garage...

    Painting the Walls

I went with a high quality exterior white semi gloss on my lift stall. The light reflection is considerable as compared to the beige flat on the other end. Easy to wipe dirt off as well.

Air lines to a Bendpak four post lift

I have a bendpak hd7w that I installed two years ago. I ran an air line straight off the compressor without any oilers. It works flawlessly. I love not having to connect an air line every time I lower it. I use the lift several time per week.

DDM Garage Door kit raised my door 42"

I just installed a DDM Garage door kit which raised my 9'x7' Ideal door an additional 42". My ceiling is 12'9" and the door now hugs the ceiling and is at 12'5" off the floor when raised. DDM provided me with all the needed springs, hardware and detailed instructions for $199. I was able to...

    Air locks on BendPak

I have a HD-7W on order and was wondering if I should hard plumb an air line to the lift or just use my air hose to unlock the lift? The lift will be anchored to the floor so I will not ever move it. Can I "permanently" run a flexible hose to the lift and just leave it or does it have to be...

I will post my results in a few weeks. I'm installing a BendPak HD-7W in my 3rd bay. The ceiling height is 12'9'' and the door is a 9'x8' Ideal. I just ordered a DDM Garage Door high lift kit which will raise my door rails from the existing 102" to 144". Thanks akdiesel. I too am in no hurry to...

    220v vs 110v BendPak

I'm ready to purchase a HD7W BendPak lift and I am finding it difficult to get a straight answer relative to the needed amps required. The distributor told me that he thinks the 220V requires a 30A circuit and the 110V a 20A circuit? Also, what is the advantage of the 220V over the 110V?? I...

Too much heater for my 20x20 garage?

I agree, a 160k BTU is huge! I have a 75k BTU in my 33 x 23 and it will heat the space in just a few minutes even at zero outside temps or less. Good luck.

Garage door opener with car lift

Mister68, Did you cut the original tracks at the curve in half and then splice in straight segments? How did you attach the straight length pieces to the curved track segments? How did you determine the lengths of the spliced in straight pieces to get the door clearance you were looking for? Thx!
