Peter Tommasini

I migrated from Italy at 15 years old, started my interest in cars in Italy after working as a floor sweeper at a Ferrari
coachbuilding factory. Did my apprenticeship in Australia and was very lucky to associate with very skilled English and Australian tradespeople who taught me about metalshaping and panel fabrication. After completing my
apprenticeship and working at smash repair shops I found this did not interest me so began to seek out and work for
shops that did metal finish and fabrication until I decided to go out on my own, about 35 years ago. Metalshaping is my passion and requires a great deal of patience. I continue to enjoy my work to this date, although my body is telling me otherwise. Consequently I run seminars and sell panel beating tools and equipment which I plan to do for many many more years.
