I ended up having the company that did the spray foam do the painting. I needed to get the occupancy and was running out of time. Here are a couple of pictures, I am only using the loft space for storage. I would have preferred a lighter color, but this is all they had.

I agree with NUTTSGT suggestions. I would be surprised if it is cement/concrete. One consideration to keep in mind is that foam board needs to be covered to have a fire rating that complies with code. Since there is occupied space above the garage, this will need to be fire rated sheetrock. You...

Sorry for not being clear, permit is for the building, and a lift falls under the IBC and Mass codes, the town I am in strictly enforces it. Thanks for the reply.
