    Lugz I agree. Based on the patent below it is a Parker or a licensee. Look closely, there is s collar - a bit thin, but a collar. It is missing it's wrench-like "clamp screw" (Isn't it cool just to make up a name for something) JKB

    One of mine was used as a drill press stand by the PO. He used a steel plate that was clamped to the top to preserve the butcher block top. To me, it looked like it served him well... JKB
