I noticed that too, I had been contemplating buying two for my roll up doors. I had them saved for later in my Amazon cart and about a month or so ago I noticed the price went up between $200-300. I asked the seller about the jump in price and never got a response.
I fight the same battle, seems like every time I go out to the shop it needs to be swept and the spiders went to town building webs. I have to agree with other responses. Seal up the air flow, I have done some areas and it’s helped I still need to seal up my roll up doors. I know most of my dirt...
I have skylights in my building. I’m currently looking into replacing them with metal because they leak and are discolored. I have had people tell me that I’ll regret it because of the light they let in but I can just get more lights for the ceiling if it’s too dark.
Some updated pics, sorry they aren’t the best but I was trying to contain a toddler and take the pics. I contemplated spraying the paint and I might still do it because it’s a lot bigger pain than it looks especially the purlins on the ceiling, my neck starts to get stiff from looking up. I...
I’ve searched and really haven’t found too much on the topic but I decided to just get started on painting the Red Oxide primer in my shop white. I pressure washed and treated the rusty spots with rust neutralizer and also knocked off the heavy stuff. I used Valspar Duramax paint, even though...
Thanks for all the info, I think to cover what I want right now I’ll probably go with a four camera system with the ability to add more. From what I’ve seen Poe might be the way to go.
So there has been some less than desirable renters that moved in next door and I’ve been looking around for some security cameras for my shop and house. Needless to say I’m a bit lost. I’ve looked on Amazon and eBay, but I don’t what to end up with cameras that make everything look like amebas...
I’m in the same boat, I’m also in central Florida. I have the building already and let me tell you, here you need insulation to keep your building from becoming a toaster. That’s just my opinion. After all the research, it seems (from what I’ve found)the best way to insulate is foam if the...
I’m in Tampa, I have a 30x60x14 metal building with just the ceiling insulated. I doesn’t even have to be hot outside for the building to heat up like a toaster. Mid day in the summer it feels like your working in an attic unless there is a breeze coming in the doors. My next investment will be...
My SO tool cart is 10yrs old and I work out of it everyday. The drawer slides and casters started to give me issues, now they’re getting replaced under warranty. Still looks brand new and no issues with the metal on the cart itself. I know this is about BP vs HF carts but my point is if it works...
