    40x40 build starting... and goooo...

Once it froze up with some ice and snow it was a cake to plow this winter, the only bad thing i found was that because its black it melts the snow/ice quickly. Which is good and bad, i would rather have it stay frozen all winter so its easier to plow. I found that just driving on it when we...

    40x40 build starting... and goooo...

Yeah I agree! Its actually holding up pretty well considering its not adhered to well. The only thing i have come to notice is that peg board tends to make the shop look messy even if its organized. Specially now that i have a good storage setup and don't need it as much. But its very handy...

I kept the shop at 41 degrees all the time only cranking it up when i was out working which was pretty much every weekend and couple times a week. So for heat for the two coldest months i...

    Sterling 75,000 tube heater help

Connection is good and tight, I cleaned it very lightly with a brass brush, I could try with a dollar bill tmrw. It cycles three times, Valve opens, I can see gas flow 3.5wc, I can see good spark, 3-5seconds later it stops, no flame starts at all, 30 second later it trys it all again, after 3...

    Sterling 75,000 tube heater help

You are right, flame sensor and igniter are one in this unit, its only a two metal barbs into a spark plug like connector. I got it running, but no clue what it could be, leaning towards a bad igniter. I took out the igniter again for the 4th time, cleaned it, checked gap to .0125. Then I...

Hey guys after what feels like a month of hemming and hawing, I finally pulled the trigger on a used Sterling 75,000 BTU (single stage) heater for the shop. Was looking for a two staged, but the used market is pretty dry on these. Pick it up Saturday, hoping to install Sunday.. Going to...

I was actually just talking to a friend about this yesterday, as he did almost the identical shop and drive way, he did number 2 crusher. When we walk on his it feels more compact than mine, yet if you drag your feet on it it still pretty loose. I am over all really really happy with it, its...
