I already did, here was the reply
Hi,
Unfortunately we can-not ship this item to Hawaii with Fed Ex due to the hazmat restrictions so Fed ex is returning the items here. If you have a location on the west coast we can send this to please let us know otherwise we can refund the item in full...
I tried to order armorpoxy and they shipped to me and then FedEx took the shipment all the way to California by ground and sent it back to NJ because it's hazmat. I think I'm stuck with what I can get locally, which probably means home Depot or Lowes, I used the Rust-Oleum back in about 2005...
Point being this model already has the ability to run on propane, so it should be possible to jet it for natural gas if a guy could figure out the specifics
I understand that, but if I were to turn enough stuff on I could blow through 200a in no time.
Next up would be nice to put in a transfer switch so I could run off a small generator if I ever needed to. I think I can manage that too.
Ssssssssshhhhhhh! Don't mention that word.
I guess at that point I'd put a new panel in. It actually sounds like a fun project but the parts cost....
All the bedrooms up and down are afci so hopefully we'll be covered. Those 1" afci take up a lot of precious room. There's one in the basement...
The guy that did the subpanel in the basement did an even cleaner job, then I screwed it all up, I'm not nearly as neat. And I'm working with 10 and he wasn't I guess. I'm sure he's the one that moved everything around to make space for the 50amp sub panel service.
Man I have a lot of potential...
I googled it up and most said it was OK in the J box, a couple said it wasn't on random sites. Aside from wirenutting stranded to solid, I can't see why it would be a problem and the jbox is mounted to the garage wall, though low, accessible and labeled, I think it's all safe :dunno::shocking...
so I just ran 1/2 EMT to a J box on the garage wall and ran romex from the j box, though the wall/footer, into the basement and along the joists with some existing wiring and to the sub panel in the basement, it'll have to be good enough I guess. I'm not sure the J box THHN to romex is 100% OK...
Don't know, like others have mentioned I don't know why all but about 5 circuits are double pole. I could eliminate stuff like the outside light outlets but I do use them on occasion.
I have the conduit re-run into the basement, it's actually easier and cleaner that way anyhow, I only need to...
Well, I can get into the basement right below where I put the outlet. So how do I do it? I have emt run in the garage, do I put a junction box in and transition to romex where I penetrate the footer? I read you can't pull romex in conduit.
