    Slowing down a Foot switch

Another good idea. I'll start with the foam. then try that. Otherwise I'll just go back to what I know...

    Slowing down a Foot switch

I was using a chunk of metal under the lever, but I really like the foam idea. Thanks. I assumed these switches came in multiple flavors... I'm ignorant to these things. But thats why I came here. Thanks again for all the help.

    Slowing down a Foot switch

Wow. More info than I can process. A mechanical stop is probably more my speed. Thank you.

    Slowing down a Foot switch

My bead roller has a foot switch to control the speed. The range of speed is too high/fast. There is about 1.5" of swing. I have to run it by only pressing it 1/4 to 1/2" max. When reaching on larger panels it is easy to accidentally crank down and move the panel too far. Below is a shot...

This is what I do. But apparently, I'm getting too lazy for that. :)

Switch for multiple machines on one outlet

Hoping to attach it to the side of my large HF welding cart. That sounds great, but wouldn't fit anywhere.

Thanks y'all. When my laziness reaches the point where I want to spend the time and money....

Switch for multiple machines on one outlet

I don't know the terminology, so a search hasn't been helpful. I want to build something that works like a 110v power strip, but for 220v. Its for a welding cart with 3 machines. All similar amperage (same plug 6-50p). Only one machine will be operated at a time. 1. Would I need to have...

Broken Horn Goat Barn (56x40) Stick Build

It worked well enough for me. I would have liked to create a way to open and close the access side -- like a draw string.

Broken Horn Goat Barn (56x40) Stick Build

Its drop down painters plastic sheeting. Pvc pipe up top and below. And a 2x4 frame and some box fans in the garage door. Bear in mind I was thry to kkep the overspray in --- not the dust out.

Just realized I never updated this thread. I don't have any other pics handy, but here's the inside and out.... currently.

Just found a great, simple, cheap alarm system for detached garage

Sorry. Missed these replies. Bibene does not have cell backup. Its a low cost solution. We're talking less than $75 total. It doesn't compare to simplisafe or any monitored (or cell backup) type service. Apples and oranges.

Just found a great, simple, cheap alarm system for detached garage

It has some glitches, but I still recommend it. It resets all the settings to the default -- after an activation. So make sure you check your settings after an accidental alarm. 69385vette - which camera did you go with? The one Bibene recomends is no longer available.

I do not have the camera, so I can't comment on its features. It comes with two key fobs.
