I stack mine under my back porch.. And my wife's, and my sisters in laws, and my mother in laws. I even have a set or two that were on some older vehicules that we don't use anymore. Gets damn messy when it's time to change tires with all the mud that creeps under there.

I use Sweet Home 3d. Free, easy, you can have your whole house modeled and ready for moving stuff around in a few hours. Think CAD but with the home designer in mind.

Instead of having an axle across the trailer, wouldn't it be easier to have two separate wheels, one on each side? That way you could have a much lower deck without having to get over the axle?
