    park tools

I own a bike shop with 2 locations. Obviously we have a lot of Park tools. They are really the only player in the game that can supply a shop with a complete line of specialty tools, truing stands, repair stands, etc. I think the quality is excellent and the price is reasonable. We also have...

    Adding a spa disconnect sub-panel

Awesome, thanks! Yes, the sub-panel with 50a GFCI is the disconnect. Code calls for the disconnect to be located no more than 5' and no further than 10' away. Thanks!

    Adding a spa disconnect sub-panel

I'm in the process of installing a sub-panel disconnect for a hot tub. I will be running #6/3 w/ ground from my 200a main service panel (located in my garage) to the sub-panel disconnect (located outside the garage). I will install a 50a breaker inside the 200a main service panel for the feed...

    Welding table question

I'm not a welding expert (far from it), but I have a Lincoln SP135 w/ gas and re-configured an old workbench into a welding table with no problem. Look on you welder on the inside cover, but from memory the 135 machine will weld up to 5/16" without gas using flux core wire (.035 maybe?)...

    Wilton Bullet Vise

No kidding, you can't buy an import piece of **** for $40. Ugly paint and no swivel mean nothing if you need a good, solid vise.

    Wilton help please.

Mine has a 4" jaw, opens 3-3/4" and has been pounded on, ground on, sanded on, painted on, glued on, etc., etc, for 25 years of homeowner use. But, as I mentioned it will rotate when torqued on, drill a hole, bolt it down and enjoy.

    Wilton help please.

I have (what looks like) a smaller version of that vise, and parts are not available from Wilton. FWIW, mine has a swivel base and it will not hold under a lot of torque. It's a basic single-bolt lock on the swivel with no teeth to engage when locked down so it's prone to moving. But...it's a...

    The Great Little Garage

A better question...do you need it at the expense of running water in your home? I'm sure a lot of us have 'stuff' saved for a possible future use, but some things about this situation are just unexplainable, or understandable.
