Actually I've found the flooring to be VERY tough. My only advice is dont store any pool acid in the cabinet. Took me a while to get out the rust. I don't have a "workshop" per say or do any kind of welding. But i spend plenty of time using the garage for home projects, vehicle maintenance...

Follow up: Love how the garage turned out. Legacy industrial's residential kit has been great. Fazor tan and still look brand new! New age cabinets - the heavier gauge 24" deep are amazing and hold a LOT! Rubbermaid wall system is easy to install and use Steel pegboard with under cabinet...

Looking at getting metal cabinets for the garage and am indecisive between 18 or 24 gauge and 18" or 24" depth. Be glad to hear anyones experiences
