Finally hung up this air drier i built few yrs ago. Also installed electric timed tank drain.

The dipstick was actually out and it i heard the noise. Possibly someone didnt put it in correcly that morning? I dont beleive ive ever pulled it while running, so i dont know what normal air movement and noise it should have. I will check breather line. Thank you for quick reply.

Think we screwed up at the shop. My faithful quincy 325 that has never had a problem since new, now has. Sent one of the guys to get some supplies and told him to pick up some compressor oil to change it on the compressor. The store was out of reg compressor oil so he picked up amsoil full...

Bought this top box I beleive in 95. Was way too tall on roll cab. Finally took some scrap wood and cobbled this together. Usable instead of just junk in there.

So far so good. Following the rinse, blow off, box fan then crc or wd 40 contact cleaner on electrical stuff. 100 percent so far. Honda 5000 generator, Thermodyne plasma cutter, Lincoln mig welder, drills, dewalt chop saw etc all seemingly running normal. Got a couple of pumps left and done...

Just found some advice on a miller welding forum. The advice given was to flush with garden hose or low powered pressure washer then blow out with compressed air then continue drying with box fans blowing across unit. Sounds like a plan. One poster said hes done it on lots of equipment like...

Did a quick search for cleaning tools after flooding, didnt find any threads. A few days back i got about 18 inches of fresh water from the river in garage. It had plenty of silt in the water. Most things unaffected but still got some damage. What are your thoughts on cleaning electric motors...

Will the tensioned fabric hold up to snow and ice?

I sold my shipping container next to my hangar. Everything rusted bad in it. We tried some venting, didnt seem to work. Figured we would have to run a fair size dehumidifier parts of the year. Wasnt willing to do that.
