Bingo:thumbup: Amazing only 2 guys in 3 pages do this. I understand some grinders dont allow this, but Id modify the mechanism to 'free but snug' spin before cutting down the guard.

I have exposed studs so I just screwed 2 pieces of 3/4" plywood (6" x how ever long 14"-2') on either side of the stud. Mount slightly out of level so tool does'nt walk off. You could also run a short D.W. screw on each end so there is no chance of tools walking off. I have 3 sets, the 20" setup...
