    Drain Snakes 2026

hey guys, looking for drain snake/auger recs for home use. i want something for toilets, baths, showers, and sinks (including kitchen where there can be grease, i suppose). i don't think i need a big-*** machine for the main line to get tree roots and stuff. it would be sick to have a machine...

Cat Dealers Service Tools Catalog 2024 PDF

did you try googling it? if not, why? eh, i guess fortunately your screenshot conveyed enough information for me to google that for you? https://www.google.com/search?q=macos+archive+utility+7z+password+not+working the one built into macOS ***** (at least on older versions of macOS --...

Knipex Bottle Openers: Possible Group Buy

no, it never happened because knipex was unwilling to sell them to us. we tried pretty hard.

    Tools of Japan

these purps are designed for oil iirc. have tried them. imo not as nice as the regular red ones for standard gripping conditions. the purps don't feel as nice when dry as the standards. and also they shed black particles.

Free with trade in Panduit Label Maker

in addition to that, they may be ignoring some or all applicants. my friend filled the form in late may and never got a response. maybe it's because he used a gmail email address, no clue. so yeah, the deal might be dead.

Show us your pb swiss tools!

interesting. i'm a total pb fanboy and do not find their ratcheting mechanisms to be their strong suit. not that it's bad, but it's probably my least favorite aspect. however, i've been using it exclusively for so long now (specifically a couple of insider 3s (6510 R-30)) that i can't say with...

Free with trade in Panduit Label Maker

code db: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1lI0KBel5MONYKepOizAGCso8uoIWmkJ7WtHAKFW9se4/edit there's 25 or so codes there. you're able to sort the columns without being logged in. it should be enough info to make a lot epson or 3rd party consumables work. i think you can also use google...

    Tools of Japan

imo it's more productive to give a specific example of a tool model you like and ask for the best jp equiv(s) if you mean the smaller pliers like more electronics and jewelers stuff, idk, i think erem, lindstrom, swanstrom, and tronex are better than the jp ones. keiba is nice though...

    Tools of Japan

@jsackin i think a lot of the good stuff has been mentioned, but +1 on vessel power grip drivers. i already have PH1, PH2, and PH3, but i might be interested in some other drives systems if you carried them. also, for fancy adjustable wrenches, maybe lobtex w-zero and top hyper monkey zero...

does grafting C. sativa onto Nicotiana rootstock actually work? i heard multiple times it doesn't.

    Favorite Knife Steels

true. i replaced all my stones (except jnats) with vitrified diamond stones (400, 1000, 6000) + 1µ diamond-loaded strop. however, for something like magnacut, i will get out the guided sharpening system.

    Favorite Knife Steels

i have a bunch of fancy kitchen knives and a couple of pocket knives. the real-world answer is i prefer the steels used by knife makers that make knives i am interested in. the less-cheeky answer is i prefer steels that offer good combinations of corrosion resistance, toughness, edge...
