    question about prices for connection

hadnt thought about a mini ex! I actually do have another use for it. Previous owner made a drainage swale by laying big rocks right on top of a natural swale. Guess what my mower blades nail EVERY time? If anything, A proper french drain would be wonderful.

    question about prices for connection

Hi all, my new little garage has already been roughed in with outlets and lights. I had a panel installed on the outside. Now it's time to set up the meter. The power company is telling me that I'll be responsible for a 3 foot deep trench with 3 inch conduit. The run from where power hits...

I could probably afford spray insulation. Think it would do well?

    roof insulation

I would hate to have to vent each rafter, and the webs make it hard to decide best placement

I think I see what you are getting at. here's some photos of the ceiling. If I could keep as much head space as I could that would be good. When I climb onto my boat for any reason, my head is in the rafters. and you're spot on about just trying to hold back as much solar gain as possible.

    roof insulation

as to conditioning, I *could* put a small AC on it, but since I'm not paneling the ceiling, it seems wasteful. The garage houses my boat, all my fishing tackle, rods and reels, and a bunch lawn gear. 14x7 garage door at each end, 18x30. I'm still considering if a small A/C would at least keep...

    roof insulation

Well, good news! The electrician is doing his thing this week in my new garage, so shortly I'll be able to start the insulation process. I was going to use paper backed roll up in the walls, but I'm not sure what to do in the roof. I'm going to leave the trusses open in the roof, and have...

Hoping you can help : Garage Ramp Options

Are you thinking the dirt, if left in place, would settle? How would you handle the exposed sides of the ramp? Just ramp them down at a steeper angle and compact them? My concern is the sides sliding or falling off and away

Here's a better view In the far far right edge, you can just make out the edge of a green topper of one of my septic cells

Hoping you can help : Garage Ramp Options

Ok, couple of points that aren't obvious from the photos, I'll take some more today. If you're facing the rear of the garage, I have about 20 feet between the garage and the septic system. There is a cross fence that separates the front yard from the back acre. A gate is going there, and yes...

Are you saying that you would remove all of the hard packed dirt you see in the photo and replace it with gravel?
