    Crows feet

They're never the best option. They're usually the last option. Usually use them due to tight access and you can't fit a wrench in, and you don't have enough clearance to stick a socket with extension on.

Milwukee M12 Heated Vest/Jacket Battery Alternative

You could rig up something with a USB PD powerbank with a voltage selector. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081YVSCTL/?tag=atomicindus08-20 I don't know what the amp draw is on the M12 battery, but you're not supposed to do more than 5A on that board. So ~60W max.

Mini-Milwaukee Rant - bad batteries common?

I had two M12 6.0 batteries die suddenly at the same time. Just outside the warranty date. Turns out they both had a bad cell.

    The Everything 3D Printer Thread

I've never used an ender 3, but I've had plenty of bed slingers, and never had any warping issues with PETG. I mean, I certainly believe it's possible, but I've just never seen it on my end, and I've printed at least 50kg of PETG over the past few years. There's a bunch of variables that could...

I've never heard of PETG warping. I suppose it could depend on the build surface you print on. But I print exclusively on flex sheets with PEI (both textured and smooth). PETG is known to stick aggressively to PEI, and the textured PEI mitigates some of that. I've printed a lot of PETG in the...

    Keyboard lubricant?

100% this. Hobbies almost never make any financial sense. I've dabbled a little bit in mechanical keyboards... mostly just buying them and some keycaps. Building them is another rabbit hole that I don't find personally interesting. I don't personally know why they use krytox, but I do know...

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

Yea, the one on my Gen 1 was glued on. Heat might help, but I just used more force to twist it off. the vacuum hose is pretty durable, and eventually the glue will give.

I actually did model and create a new hose cuff. It actually fits standard 1.25" attachments, as well as the oversized ones. Threads on just like the stock one. I'll clean up the file and post it later if anyone else with a 3d printer is interested. Oh and milwaukee did make their own brush...

Pretty good summary. I have both the Packout Vac and 1st Gen Vac. The packout vac is very nice, but you also pay the packout tax for it as well. It's much quieter than the 1st gen and has two power modes. But what drives me nuts about the Packout vacuum, is that the hose cuff/nozzle is...

    Extension cord holders?

I coil mine over/under and secure them with a large cable cuff. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Large-Cable-Cuff-PRO-CFLP030808/204806549 I used to mess with winding reels, but they were always more hassle than they were worth.

Why do old products on Amazon cost so much ?

Look at the seller. The cheap ones are sold by Amazon. The "old one" is sold by a 3rd party vendor that can set whatever price they want. At some point the product was updated enough to warrant a new listing.

40C is pretty low for heating a bed. Even though PLA doesn't technically need a heated bed on some surfaces, pretty much everyone does use one now. You should be at ~60C bed temp for PLA.

Do they make shorter pruning blades yet? For my hackzall, I took one of the normal long pruning blades and cut half of the blade off just to make it a little more manageable.

    Wheel crib recommendations?

Yea, Race Ramps is pretty much the only company doing these. One thing to note while buying these... it may tempting to go straight for the 12" version, but very few jacks will lift that high without extra help. I have a low car, and can barely fit my jack under it as is, so adding a spacer on...
