    Show your new tool arrivals

The 1/2" impact is so awesome. Way more torque than the lesser expensive model from Milwaukee. Got it on the Home Depot special buy online. 3/8 drive impact tool only from Copo outlet.

    Garage door opener

I used the standard liftmaster jackshaft type on my 14' x 14' doors and they work great. The doors are 2" thick with foam insulation and are pretty heavy. The only thing you have to be concerned about is how many times you open and close them in a specified amount of time due to overheating...

Anyone have more than one brand of Cordless Tools?

I had craftsman, black and decker, skil and various others. Trouble with them is that they change their battery styles so it becomes difficult to replace batteries and the tool becomes junk. I have been switching to Milwaukee M18 Fuel in recent years. Seems like they are keeping things...

    Pole barn wiring

I ran the wires along the girts on the outside of the posts. I did not want to drill through the posts and have the wire dangling from post to post. The building inspector said the wire needs to be stapled every 4 feet or so. I stapled it on the top of the girts. I figured if I ever re-sided it...

    36 x 80 Storage Shed

Installed lights. This is sort of temporary until I get around to finishing the inside. At least now I can see to start working on the floor.

Epoxy floor using Sherwin Williams Tile-Clad

Tile clad doesn't really need it. I don't have any experience with top coating this stuff so I didn't to it.

    Wired house - why?

I think its about having options and thinking about what you will regret more. Yes wireless has definitely progressed but that is because so many homes were built without wiring and if manufactures want to sell products they need to have wireless options. Wireless is not without problems not to...

    wireless tv

I am confused by the request. You want to display what is on the house TV out to the shop. Where is the signal coming from? A cable box or sat receiver or antenna? Your TV probably doesn't have any video outputs so the signal would have to come from a box.

    jack shaft door closeing

I have several of these type openers on single width doors. I didn't have to change a thing when I installed them. They had traditional openers on them. The weight of the door is enough to close it tightly. The openers I used also have a locking mechanism so that someone cannot just walk up to...

    Off Grid Garages, Generators, Etc.

Have you checked with the power company about it. Sometimes they offer new construction credits. I got that when I built my shop. I had them run power and gas. The power ended up being free because the credit exceeded the cost. The monthly service charge for the shop is only $6.95/month.

    Insulation pole barn type garage..

Do you have roof vents or a ridge vent? You need to have ventilation from the sofit through the peak of the roof. Sofit vents by themselves are not enough. Also what is the R-value of that insulation? Check out these links for an explanation about attic ventilation. Google is your friend here...

    Help identifying oxy/acet setup

I have an older Gas Weld brand oxy/acetylene setup that I am trying to learn about. Is this setup any good? It looks pretty old. One of the handle parts and some tips are larger diameter than say the newer Victor brand stuff. Is this setup better than buying a new Victor setup? I can supply...
