    A shop in Bourbon County

Nice to see a fellow Kentuckian on the board. I used to work out of Lex and was in Paris several times per week for a few years. Keep the updates coming, and nice shop. Matt

Love the build, and how you are retrofitting it to the old structure. Glad you saved it!

    Between 485 & 705 SQ/FT Mid-Century Moto Mecca Makeover

I first noticed this thread when it was only a few pages long. After purchasing a new home and selling my current one, I've stumbled across it again, (with much more content this time of course.) I am so thoroughly impressed with every aspect of this thread. It seems to have come full circle...

    My Home/Garage Flood Restoration

Been a long time since I updated this thread. Garage is back in order, and has been gettin heavily used lately. Still have a few things to improve on though, and a bit of clutter to get rid of yet again, but thats how it goes. I'll put some current pics up soon.

    working with (wedding) rings

I was already working in my field when I got married. Due to working around alot of live electrical components, and high voltage I have never worn one. Alot of guys I have worked with used to put glass tape around their ring while at work, but I'd just as soon not wear one. Wife completely...

    Compressor Running Too Hot?

On any compressor, the line going into the intake valve on the head should be warm. The discharge side line should always be HOT if working properly. This is why you see cooling fins on the discharge lines on industrial, or multi stage compressors. Perfectly normal. If this is reversed, then you...

    My Home/Garage Flood Restoration

You are correct in what you know. My home was not considered to be in a flood plain, I would not have bought it if it had been. I had several inspectors, and two different engineers inspect the property to determine if it would flood, even after checking to see if it was located in a flood...

    My Home/Garage Flood Restoration

Thanks again guys. I stopped by the place again today on my way to work and tile is done! Not sure if my cabinets are going up in the kitchen tomarrow, or what but I'm hoping so. The hardwood guys delivered the wood today, and will let it set, and get acclimated to the houses temp, and begin...

    My Home/Garage Flood Restoration

The romex is fine by me, and I agree, there are alot more dangerous things. I'm an industrial electrician/maintenance technician, so I get to see/repair/redo, alot of these dangerous things you speak of all the time. Its alot different when working on switch gears and buss rails and getting to...

    My Home/Garage Flood Restoration

Thanks for the comments guys, I know the garage isn't much, or very big, but it is what I have, and I'm proud of it, as I crank out large projects out of a small garage. Honestly, I kind of like it better that way. Depending on what the money situation is like when I get done with the house, I'm...

    My Home/Garage Flood Restoration

Most kitchens do for the microwaves. As far as code goes, I'm not sure, all of my electrical work is industrial, so I don't keep up with res. Code. BesIdes, I,ve already broken code by my other circuits not being gfi, so I don't really care. :)

Heading down to the house on the way to work to check out the progress on the tile. I'll snap some pictures while I'm there.
