Snap on ratcheting screwdriver red $40

I have two of the Snap On and have used them for 25 years. Obviously other screwdrivers are satisfactory and the bits interchange, but this is one of those tools you reach for every single time you work on something, a top drawer item. Haven't used the Williams which looks like a close copy...

    resurfacing counter tops

I was at a car show last summer and visited a display of countertops/cabinets/modular floors and noticed they used regular formica countertops sprayed with black spray-in bedliner material. I thought this seemed like a great DIY idea as the bedliner material is very durable and would add...

    Drop Ceiling in Metal Building?

OK, I am just brainstorming here, would welcome any input. I have a large quonset, bigger than I need (for now) but I like the open space with no posts to hit, so have held off building walls and such to divide it up. However, it has about a 16ft high roof and I think a ceiling might help me...

    Two-post vs. Four-post

Does anybody have a recommendation on a brand of lift? The Backyard Buddy people have very compelling ads, are they actually superior to other brands? Todd

    Kerosene Heaters for Large Building

Guys, thanks for the tips, I was ready to get the kerosene version and your suggesting the propane is probably better for my situation. SO with that, what about the difference in forced air and convection? The Reddyheat site describes the difference, I think I probably need the forced air. OR...

    Kerosene Heaters for Large Building

Hmmm, I did not know about a film over everything, I did of course know about the noise and fumes. Have you got a link for the propane heaters? Thanks, Todd C

    Kerosene Heaters for Large Building

I have the metal shed, 45x70 and am interested in what those of us with big buildings are doing for heat. I plan to buy the ReadyHeater kerosene heater and would like to know if I am better with one large one (175-200,000 BTU) or two small ones (100,000 ea). Any ideas? Thanks, Todd

    Anybody Using a Quonset?

I agree on the clear span, I never liked pole buildings for that reason. The wind load is a good thing for me too, windswept fields and tornados, you know. If I can only deal with my ill fitting sliding barn doors I will be OK with it. Good luck with yours, Todd C

    Anybody Using a Quonset?

To 49t&c, thanks for the reply, I began to think I am the only one with a quonset. Mine also has sliding doors and they are the worst feature of the whole building. I would like to replace them but still have no good plan yet. Where are you getting your spray booth from? Todd C

Bi Fold Aircraft Hanger Style Door

Yes, my first choice. The price quoted was too high, in my initial opinion--$5800, and the local dealer was not eager to take on the job, so I am still looking.
