you are corrct, i prefer a tank and am leaning towards the 4 gall size as space difference and cost is minimal. this will only be used 8-9 months of the year and then drained inthe coldest months along withthe water in rest of building.

guy i worked with recommends portland cement. He says it pulls the moisture right out of the floor, balls up and then you can sweep it up. I have yet to try it but it is on my to do list. It is cheap enough.
