I wipe mine down once a week with a microfiber towel and I Lucas slick mist it every now and again. I got it used and it was covered in stickers when I got it. One of them was a pain in the **** to get off and I ended up with a shiny spot on one of the drawers.

I use a bent flex head no detent everyday. Mines a snappy and he just upgraded the head of mine. My dad bought it and brought it home and I cobbed onto it and haven't layed it down since. I use it a straight flex 1/4 inch and a straight flex 1/2 inch On a daily basis.

Wouldn't that create hotspots in the painting surface? Paint might flow better in the warm spots and not on the cold.
