I order pallets of steel that are all cut to 6 feet. I use a pallet jack to move them to a storage rack. It is rare that I need a forklift. Also I work out of my home shop, so storage for a forklift is an issue.
I am looking for a way to unload steel at my new shop, other a forklift. I get deliveries on semi-trucks, that sometimes don"t have a lift gate. This I don't have to find a place to store/park like a forklift.
I was helping a friend at his studio, which use to be an old warehouse and noticed the shipping lift in the floor. It lifts up to the level of a semi for unloading. Does anyone know if there is a company that make something like this.

Great Job!!!
