I did. Yours turned out great. I stopped and bought a freeze plug at autozone that should slide in once I thin the walls down a bit. But after seeing the rounded end I'm thinkin I'll go that route.
Agree with Estwing being the "best all around" hammer. I also have a Stilleto framing hammer that I love, but ONLY use it driving nails. If I have to pull nails I grab a prybar or my estwing.
I honestly like both the flat and round. bought a dust cap from auto parts store, limited selection, but the closest they had to the size didn't fit.
Another question. What would a nice 400s go for (re-sale)?

Hey guys. I also have a wilton 1750 w/o a dust cap. To be Honest like the look of the freeze plug. I measured the diameter @ 1 11/16". Lookin for help on the size normally used and how to keep the plug in (pins, glued etc.) thanks.
