I worked with a guy who was an actual douche.
I have a list of story's.
From his own mouth:
He was having a house built and didn't like the way some things were being done. He would go over at night and change or add onto various parts of the house.
the short story is the builder sued him and...
Remember me?
I dusted off my tubing and on the back side I found a bit of markings.
In one spot that I can read it looks like "1216 pex-al-pex"
I tried a search but can't find anywhere it says that it's barrier type.
I was hoping the "al" designation meant that it had an aluminum sleeve in it...
Thanks all! The system has been working for 6 years but not to my satisfaction. Granted I have 2 big overhead doors (1 dosen't seal well at the top) and should blow in some insulation in the attic (I did it with roll out style).
If I change the pump to mount vertical and flow into the bottom...
Thank you all very much for the advice!
Any chance I can get some info on what type of boiler and a correct diagram of how the plumbing and fluid flow should go.
It is out of service as we speak. but I need to start a plan with correct hardware so I can save and have it running this fall...
Can you see a brand or type printed on the tubing? It is important to know if it is oxygen barrier or not, putting a cast iron boiler on non oxygen barrier tubing is a very bad idea unless you separate the two with a heat exchanger.
No markings that I can see
All I remember was it was supposed...
Did you do a heat load?
No I wasn't aware of such a thing
Does the OUTPUT of the water heater match the required heat load?
Probably not
Thing like this are exactly why I'm worried to get things done Cause I'll F it up.
So I pulled the trigger and it works but is not right.
I've seen...
I used the Rustoleum industrial 2 part epoxy in gray. I also sprinkled black sandblasting sand for a anti slip surface. The sand worked best were I put it down then rolled over it again. Where I just dropped it on top of the paint, works great but it was HELL on rags untill it got knocked down...
Power vent water heater duty cycle for heated floor system (UPDATE)
When I had my slab poured the cement guy asked if I wanted heated floors. Heck yea! I had heard about them from another friend who said I could use a water heater, and the cement guy also advised me to use one.
We soldered...
