    Anyone used PURE METALLIC Epoxy?

Yes, you should be! Unfortunately, I am nowhere near the ready for coating stage. Hopefully after I finish a couple other projects I can start work on the shop.

    140 x 64 Family Back Yard Garage

Awesome thread and some seriously sweet cars! I would love to see a pic of the 71 GTX you have. Mine is in the midst of a ground up resto as we speak. It's a U code FC7 air grabber 4 speed car. Original drive train is long gone so it's getting a stroked 440 and a 5 speed. It will look all...

After years of waiting, im building my dream garage.

You might look into a tankless water heater for your application. Small in size and they work great! Hot water is a must for thawing out snow and ice covered rigs! Hotsie type washers are great too, just hook up the garden hose and instant hot water. The smell of burning kerosene is the down...

Windows vs no windows on garage doors

I have 12' doors on my shop and 2 full panels of windows on panel #4 and five. Let's lots of light in, and unless someone is 8' tall, they can't see in. No windows on my 8' garage doors at home though.

    Mark's Monster Garage....3800 sq ft

You were talking about carbon fiber and it got me thinking...have you looked into water print aka hydro graphics? do a search on you tube, you can put one in the shop and do all kinds of small parts with it! Even wheels and body panels if you have a big enough tank! I have no personal experience...

    Crapbox turned dreamhome

This is a GREAT thread! Congrats on the major remodel, you have a beautiful finished home! My wife and I completed a basement floor to roof remodel of our home that took two years to complete so I can relate to your pain! LOL Looking back, we probably should have just started over with a new...

    Anyone used PURE METALLIC Epoxy?

I agree completely. I don't allow anyone to waste my time and so I definitely don't waste anyone else's time. When I get the design and color choices narrowed down, I will call you. I'm thinking this sprin/early summer. The idea would be to have everything ready as per your specs and then have...

    Anyone used PURE METALLIC Epoxy?

Did not say you or anyone were criticizing anyone's work. Just the fighting over products, job referrals, manufacturers, etc. was making me laugh. I mean, it's floor paint, right?:lol_hitti:beer: I don't feel slighted at all. I have built enough over the years to know that the guy/company that...

    Anyone used PURE METALLIC Epoxy?

This is a hilarious thread. Congrats PieFace on an amazing DIY floor! The floor painting industry must be very good as it appears you guys would rather argue over which material is better, who manufactures what, who originally came up with this product, etc. than actually take someone up on an...

Fellow Kansan here as well! Well sort of, I live in the very western part. Last I checked the state still claims us. At least our income tax anyway! LOL

Prepping a floor for epoxy with steel squares in it...

I am planning a total interior transformation of my toy storage/shop/man cave. It is a ~20 year old shop building originally built by a ready mix company. It has a flat concrete floor with 8-10" metal squares poured in the floor about 12 feet from the edges. It has pre-stressed 4" thick concrete...

    Anyone used PURE METALLIC Epoxy?

I think you mistake me for a guy that WANTS to do this myself!:lol_hitti I don't want to take the chance on screwing up a 5000 sq. ft. job. I know my limitations all too well.
