Milwaukee gen 3 1/4 hex impact collet issue

I have 5 of these drills and I have this issue on 2 of the 5. While most people don't have much of a problem with it we switch bits often going from tapcons to wood drivers especially on something like a set of split foyer concrete step setup. I have had multiple times where bits were lost. Like...

Anyone own a modern lithium jumpstart battery pack?

I have an Antigravity XP-10. Did a test run with it on my 5.7L toyota tundra. Unhooked the battery terminal, hooked the clamps directly to the battery cables and started the truck on the pack alone. I was impressed.

Got a Zoro card in the mail

I tried signing up to zmail and requested a catalog a while back and nothing. I was wanting to get some proto durateks ($154) and was hoping I got a coupon to go through them. I will keep my fingers crossed I guess.

    Proto Duratek Screwdrivers

Thanks for the quick replies, that thread in particular is one of the reasons I was reading up on them so much when it noted 2 versions. Honestly I have never needed to use the bolsters, the husky #2 disintegrated without it. I can not say it is true or not but in my research/reading....and I...

    Proto Duratek Screwdrivers

I have been looking for a nice general set of screwdrivers and while I was looking at the gearwrench 20pc. set I think I now have it nailed down to the Proto Durateks. I have been reading/researching and it turns out there are 2 different versions, one with a smooth round polished shaft with hex...

Snap-On Tools VS Harbor Freight Tool Shootout.

Not saying it would change anything but this should have been done with the pro version.

Bi Metal hole saws for metal

I thought I read on here recently with a hole saw you want speed and not a slow cut? I recently cut some 1" holes in 5/8" flat stock with my makita cordless on high, went smoothly. Edit: Was on weldingweb, were referring to high torque, not speed.

Damage to foam during slab pour

Last few I did we used these panels for the tubing. http://www.nudura.com/divisions/nudura-products/integrated-series/hydrofoam. Very easy to wheel over, you could add mesh or rebar if you wanted with no issues either, homeowners on the ones I did didn't want it. Awesome product in my opinion.

    Sams club LED'S

I bought 2 over the weekend and went back today to get one more to put above my tool box. Im guessing there were well over 200 of the LofA in stock. The end of an isle had a huge stack as well as a stack mid way down an isle. The woman at checkout said she saw a lot going out the door but to me...

    AdvanceAuto Gearwrench 20pc $49.99 5pc SAE or Metric $14.99

I would prefer reversible wrenches just for the offset. I have run into clearance issues using these nonreversing wrenches on flat plate where I could not get a ratchet that would not have been an issue with a 15* offset. If their version of the flex heads aren't floppy even better yet...

    installing 50 amp.... 6-2NM vs 6-2NM-B

The wire is dated on it's cover November 7, 2007. BTW I am an idiot. The outside wrap has no mention of NM-B but if I read the wire cover itself it does say NM-B. Not to stir the pot or anything but can this same wire/size be used for a 50 amp circuit with a 6-50R in the same length run to...

    installing 50 amp.... 6-2NM vs 6-2NM-B

30xp air has its own compressed air, latest new thing from hypertherm. As far as both machines at once I just meant without having to unplug one and plug the other back in. What wire size would be needed for a 50 foot run to a hardwired compressor in the 5hp range. Compressor I was looking at...

    installing 50 amp.... 6-2NM vs 6-2NM-B

Looks like it would be a 5hp motor. My plan was to run both circuits to NEMA 6-50r's and then wire the compressor to a NEMA 6-50p. Would that not work? That way I can run a plasma cutter and the welder at the same time. When I get home I can measure the run to get closer on length. Plasmas a...

    installing 50 amp.... 6-2NM vs 6-2NM-B

Bummer, I was really hoping this wire would work. I was going to upgrade compressors once I was wired for it so no compressor yet. It would more than likely be a pretty standard 60 gallon like the HF 60.
