I have successfully done this a number of times at HD. I usually start at the ProDesk and they call in the manager for final approval. For Dewalt tools / batteries, I have at times had them match prices at greater than 50% of their HD price.

When I first saw this, I was ready to jump but then realized it's the 12v platform. I'll stick with the 20v versions.

Not sure about a strong recommendation but I have been generally pleased with it. Easy to setup and stable. Currently have 3 -50lb bags on thinset sitting on it to keep them off the garage floor until I need them - very solid.

I have found Home Depot will match price off Amazon for Dewalt power tools - sometimes. It seems hit or miss depending on the store / manager. However; I have been more successful than not. It helps that I have 5 home depots within a 20 mile radius and can easily just go to another store and...
