    19/32 wrench size indicates to me it might have been 1940's or 1950's?

    Yup Easco was the original supplier to Craftsman and NAPA. When they went out of business Danaher took over. For the ultimate line wrench find an older Proto. Wide open end wrench on one end and the flare nut end on the other. Way superior to all others.

    Not all Taiwanese wrenches are created equal

    I did the same thing when I was assigned to the tool room years ago at a Pratt and Whitney Jet engine rebuild shop. I showed that Craftsman Wrenches were at that time anyway tighter in the tolerances across the board than Snap-On. THAT raised a few eybrows!
