True, it would be small if I left it at the 18 (17'4" interior) depth. If I went with 4 posts at 8 feet apart instead of 3 at ten I could just add more rafters to adjust the depth and get 24 feet. This is a jumping off point of course, as I don't think the plan would get approved as it is now...
