    Harry J Epstein Day 2026

I reached outo HJE turned out the scissors sheath had my order in limbo. They corrected it and quickly I got my order- along with the swag I was bummed I thought I missed. This is why I'm a repeat customer of HJE. Well done HJE

    Columbia Cutlery Reading PA

Does anyone know anything about Columbia Cutlery out of Reading PA? I recently came across an old set of loppers marked "Columbia No. 104" and can't for the life of me get anything about the company on the net other than an address in Reading and an article from a few years ago about the...

    Harry J Epstein Day 2026

Not specifically- but it's a sentimental thing. I grew up about 40 miles from Meadville in the tool belt (Erie Jamestown Buffalo Cleveland) - my grandfather was an old school WW2 vet who could do a little of everything in the trades- he swore by Channellock- and he said you only need one pair...

    Harry J Epstein Day 2026

My order is lost in the ether- looks like I missed out on the Channellock swag. I think the scissor sheath is the issue. Jonesing for those ironworkers- my kid may not get them now. I did note that they could wait to ship all together. LOL.

    Harry J Epstein Day 2026

Order 35219. As a Northwest Pennsylvania expat now stuck in the Metro Northeast Megalopolis I'm ready to gift the best Channellock tool- the Ironworkers- to my older son. And I can always use another Husky bit holder. LOL Channellock #E318 XLT E-Series 8" High-Leverage Long Nose...

4-inch Unbranded "Jamestown, NY" "Made In USA" Adjustable Wrench (who made it?)

I have a Hjorth- the "Jamestown" on it has the period spaced further away from the N at the end and a different screw- much smaller.

Show us your Shears, Scissors, and Secateurs!

I picked up a lot of misc shears at a garage sale today- most rusty junk but 2 pair of Compton among them- I've never seen them before. They seem very high quality- I can't wait to clean them up. I'm very new to the shears/scissors scene.

Another One Gone - Wal Mart and Hart Split the Sheets

I don't have an Ollies around me or I would have definitely checked out their stuff.

Another One Gone - Wal Mart and Hart Split the Sheets

I have zero experience with the Hart power tools and am strictly a DIY weekend-warrior but I like their screwdrivers- especially so the 15-1 quick change with the slip through drive. I have them scattered everywhere throughout my house, vehicles, garage, shed, just like the Harbor Freight Quinn...

Worst US made "crescent" wrench ever? - Canton Malleable Iron

Here it is in as found condition Gummed up and dirty- will be awhile until I can get to it and clean it up properly but for a buck I couldn't pass it up.

Steelcraft Tool Corp. - Spiegel Bros. - Fix'N'Save - Century

I picked up a very old looking Steelcraft 8 inch adjustable today at a flea market in NJ. Had never seen one before- rusty but looked cleanable. Only when I got it home did I notice the Japan mark.
