A special thanks to Ryan and the rest of the crew. Thanks for giving me something to keep me from being productive while at the same time giving me the motivation to be productive......I think that makes sense. Anyways thanks.
At first I would have said its not worth it but after looking at Georgiahybrid's way of doing it I'd say go for it. The added cost would be minimal and the lowest portion of the garage would really be the only part at risk.
Maybe even do a combination of trex for the bottom 4 inches and start...
Everyone, thanks for the compliments.
Girlnagarage.... I'd love to see pics of those carburetor lights. They sound very cool.
Daves69.... I never thought of using my unibit. I'll have to try to remember that.

Once the pegboard and beam were painted I moved on to the lights. I wanted to make sure the bench had adequate light. I searched for some ideas and I found a company online that made some nice mason jar lights. I wanted to purchase them but they were far out of my price range so the next best...
Looks like you've made quite a few changes over time. Diggin the file cabinets/work bench. I also like that positional lamp above the work bench and of course the datsun.
What made you get rid of it?
Looking good there TB. I know around my area it takes a long time to come across those fence boards. Especially this time of year. Looking good so far though.
Once the walls were done we moved on to some of the smaller projects. I looked locally for some light blue hammertone paint and couldn't find any. I found every other color imaginable but no light blue. I searched the internet and found two quarts for a decent price. Once it arrived we...
I promised some pictures of the lower portion of the wall but before I post them here's the story. I've always like the look of older places. Places that are clean and tidy but show some age and have alot of charachter. That's why I went with the wood floors. I spent some time figuring what...
E-tek....thanks for the comments. Your right the wood floors are definitely warmer on the feet. As far as the oil stains I'm sure they're on there way. Like a dog the Pontiac likes to mark its spot when parked for a long time. I was thinking I might need to find another assistant to help me...
Wow. Like tinbender said I hopped in on the last page and got interested and went back to the begining. Thats quite the transformation you've got there. After the comments on my thread I can see the hell you've gone through with your inspectors. Cutting off the corner of the garage....that's...
ct71rr.... It's amazing how different areas require things to be done differently. I've worked in construction for quite a few years with my uncle and you'd be surprised what flys in one town isn't accepted five minutes away. Thanks for the compliments.
girlinagarage.... thanks for the...
After all the walls were covered painting was the next project to tackle. So I my father and I went to a local discount outlet and picked up some heavy nap rollers, a few gallons of antique white and a gallon of brown. I thought that the antique white might be the right choice but after...
