Re: Rick's Audi Double I see your edit and it does clarify what you meant. Im not looking for an argument, just discussing the information as its been presented. How do you interpret that info graphic? I'm genuinely curious how it doesn't somehow express that at the intersection of the 3...

Re: Rick's Audi Double We'll have to agree to disagree on the "tinge of truth" I posted, but I'd recommend looking at what Nokian Hakkapelittas fit your vehicle. The R2s are very nice and can be run October to April. BTW...is that info graphic actually suggesting all 3 tire types will perform...

Re: Rick's Audi Double While I know this is just a great excuse to buy another set of wheels, you'd be better off running your winters for a few extra weeks on each end of the season than running no-seasons. Quality snow tires don't melt away in moderately warmer temperatures as the retailers...

I had a feeling it would be an R. If you're gonna keep a MkIV, that's the one to have!

I bought one of their hoses and a spray nozzle. All of the quick connects leaked, and the nozzle cracked over the winter even after ensuring it was disconnected, drained of water and left standing on its end (in case of any remaining water that could freeze). Left me unimpressed but I'd be sure...

Dubber I'm glad you mentioned that reel. I was considering it yesterday myself after browsing the most recent cantire flyer. You trust that it's worth the money and will retract as designed? My personal experience with Gardena stuff hasn't been great.

Nice! The 3 step kits get nice results if you take your time.

Nice time spent with gramps! Looks like he could use a headlight polish kit to freshen up that front end and give him some much needed light output.

Lots of work in the garage yesterday. First up was the CHT sensor on my truck. One of those inexpensive yet nasty repairs. After lots of disassembly and cutting my knuckles to shreds the truck was finished. Next up was the lawnmower as my grass has already started to shoot up. Needed...

Very nice. Play with the N75 valve at all? I ran GIAC software on my GTI and changing that valve made a huge difference in boost delivery. You could feel it in the seat of your pants but watching the difference on a boost gauge was crazy.

Little project that turned into a big project yesterday:rear brakes on my wife's car. Turns out the mechanic who last did these used an impact gun to reassemble everything...combine that with a couple seasons of rust and an hour long job turns into 8. Oh well I got to buy and use a couple new...

Dubber two questions. What are you using as a source for the TV? What performance upgrades have you done to the GLI ( sorry if you've already answered either of these)

This is another "plus" of the current set up. I can actually back the Ranger up underneath the edge so that I can just drop garbage/recycling over the railing into the box to drive down to the road. Saves carrying heavy garbage cans down the stairs (those of you with kids in diapers will...

It's a free app called Magic Plan. It's been updated significantly since I did that layout, works really good. MagicPlan by Sensopia https://appsto.re/ca/WQFEz.i

I've considered that but honestly at this point it works how it is. It leaves me room for garbage/recycling access from the door to the house plus leaves me room to store a few larger items underneath. I currently have my generator, my 6' scaffolding and a 1983 Honda ATC 70 (awaiting rebuild)...
